ATMs deliver clean water to India’s poorest

An innovative new water dispensing system being used in New Delhi, the Indian capital, could provide millions of India’s poorest with clean, drinkable water.
For just five cents, the water purification machine will dispense 20 litres of water, giving the poorest in society an alternative to pumping contaminated water from below ground.
With the country’s billion-strong population growing even further, access to clean water is a pressing issue.
